For One Hundred Years, Greater Harvest has been an affirmation of God’s presence and place of refuge for the South Side of Chicago communities and it is with great joy that we will celebrate 100 Years of life in April 2012.  In every way we want this to be the biggest celebration of the Lord’s goodness to us that we have ever had and we certainly want you to be a part of this wonderful occasion. In fact, I feel that it will not be successful unless we have you join us on this momentous occasion.

We are grateful for the blessings from the hand of God over the years. Many lives have been blessed by the ministries flowing from Greater Harvest and we have continued our emphasis on serving humanity bringing men, women, boys and girls, to the family of God.

Those before us accomplished this and so much more with so little. The challenges that lay ahead of us are tremendous and it is our desire to keep the legacy of this great church alive.

Our Anniversary Theme: “100 Years Still Standing on the Rock.” On April 26, 2012 Greater Harvest plans to step into our 100th year in a celebratory banquet with many other events and services to follow. 2012 is our year of a long awaited celebration and the realization, by faith, of set goals. We also look forward to reconnecting with those who have been touched by Greater Harvest and reestablishing the fellowship we once had.

At this time in our history, we are planning on expanding our ministries to meet the ever pressing needs and concerns of our church and community. Let me encourage you to make a decision today to be a part of that plan and sponsor Greater Harvest with the best gift you have whether it is monetary, a prayer, or an encouraging word. We would be grateful for whatever you set your heart to do. God gives us a new beginning with a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit to reach higher heights and deeper depths in His son Jesus’ name.

To God be the Glory!
